I have added this page to my website to just tell you a little more about the personal guidelines I follow when breeding from my bitches.

I feel all breeders should protect the health and welfare of the dogs they use for breeding and the puppies that they bring into the world. I follow a set of guidelines when breeding that I feel ensures the best possible health and welfare for my bitches and the puppies they produce.

These consist of the following

No bitch will be mated unless she is in prime condition with no health issues, and has clear health tests that are below the breed average.

Not breeding a first litter from a bitch until around her second birthday.

The bitch and puppies will be closely monitored through the pregnancy, birth and those crucial first 8 weeks after birth before the puppies go to their new homes.

Puppies will be well socialised. Introduced to all regular household noises and well handled by adults and children.

All puppies will be wormed at 2, 5 and 7 weeks and flea treated before they leave us. They will have had a thorough vet check, which will include their 1st vaccination.

All puppies will leave with a puppy pack that contains in writing the worm and flea treatment the puppies have received with the dates administered, the vaccination card from our vet, a diet sheet, the micro-chip registration slip, copies of both parents health tests and pedigrees and a booklet with tips and advice on training your puppy.

All puppies are registered with the Kennel Club promptly so that the certificate will be available for collection with your puppy

ALL puppies will be sold with a Contract of Sale.

I would very much like new owners to keep in-contact with me after they take the puppy home and will always be happy to have a chat, should any advice be needed, no matter what the age of the dog.
